• Perform assays in accordance with required methods
• Assure test results meet specification limits and take quality actions
• Enter data into Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and other systems
• Coordinate testing with processing stages and filing or drying requirements
• Conduct additional finished product testing
• Assist with investigations of testing issues
• Observe all safety rules and regulations
• Report incidents, near misses, and chemical spills
• Wear personal protective equipment and participate in Environmental Health and Safety Programs

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• 1 year of appropriate college science related studies
• 1 year of college mathematics (algebra, geometry, or calculus)
• Or 2 years of laboratory experience, or 4 years' experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
